Farewell, my Comenius Friends, and thanks for all!!

A lot of people have worked in this project. Of course, Javier Beserán was the main man, all credit for him, but after him many others did their best as far as they could. I was one of them, and one of the lucky travelers in some of the Comenius Movilities.

That's why this project has been so special for me.

As a student, I had been in exchange projects. As a teacher, I had been in visiting projects. But none of them were like this Comenius Project.

I had been in some of the countries partners, but of course I'd never dreamed of visiting them this way. I am the typical tourist, maybe with some "non standard" likes, but a tourist after all. But thanks to this project I could live like a native, discover things not easy to find, visit places not in any tourist guide...

And, as a plus, I could do it with a group of marvelous people, that made all the experiences much better.

I can honestly say that this Comenius Project has made a difference for me, that has been a life experience.

Thanks to all for that. I said "farewell", but in my heart I really hope it to be just a "see you".

Polish Chronicles VIII: Back to Spain

If the night before was a sad moment for the pupils, this morning was terribly sad for the teachers, as now there was them who had to say goodbye, knowing that probably would be a farewell.
Train to Varsovia, plane to Madrid, train to Albacete... and our families waiting anxious.
It was, as always, and unforgettable experience.

Polish Cronicles IV: Ilza and Marcule

The first days we had very bad luck with the weather, as it was rainy, but today we needed a good day as the activities were outside... and as a reward for our resistence (it was our fourth straight day traveling), the day was sunny and nice, so we could go to a medieval fair in Ilza (and I have to mention the miedolada, what a delicious drink).
After that, we took a little train to Marcule, where we could visit a botanic garden and see some classic jobs.

Polish Cronicles III: Cracow - Cracovia

Saturday, the day that usually is reserved for the main atraction of the movilities, and our polish partners decided to use it for the trip to the most famous and touristic city of Poland: Cracow.
And it's worthy, believe me.

Thanks to the WiFi of the airplane, we are writing this in the plane, during our flight from Madrid to Warsaw.

For the last day we had some final surprises, as we took our friends to a knives factory, and then took them to the nice village of Las Peñas de San Pedro and its castle (where we had lunch).
After that, everybody spent the afternoon in the shopping malls of Albacete buying souvenirs for their families. They were a bit tired because of the long week, but they did their best!!

And another great day!! First of all we were to the auditorium to watch the “II Short Film and Soundtrack Festival”, where the mayor had some good words for us, and then... The party!!
It wasn´t the last day because some of our friends were leaving the next day, but it was very emotive anyway.

The day finished with a dinner in Chinchilla, another great village that our friends liked.

Spanish Chronicles IV: Free time!!

Sunday was the day for the "rest", that means, free time for everybody to do whatever they wanted.
The pupils spent the day with their families doing special activities with them, while the teachers went to visit Alarcón and then the Carnaval of Tarazona (they were impressed). The day finished with the International Circus Contest show (and they were delighted with it).
